Channa Dal Kabab

Ingredients

  • Channa dal – 1 cup
  • Ginger (finely chopped) – 1
  • Green chillies (finely chopped) – 2
  • Onion (finely chopped) – 1
  • Hara dhania/Green coriander (finely chopped) – 2
  • Dahi/Yogurt – as required
  • Garam masala – ¾ teaspoon
  • Salt – as required
  • Oil (for deep frying) – as required

Method

  • 1. Pick and Wash the channa dal. Soak for 1 hour and Drain the water.
  • 2. Grind the dal in a mixer to a coarse paste.
  • 3. Add very little water (about 1 Tablespoon) only if necessary while grinding.
  • 4. Mix the dal paste, with the remaining ingredients, except the oil.
  • 5. Rub a little oil on your hands and Make small kababs.
  • 6. Fry in hot oil over medium heat until golden brown.
  • 7. Drane on absorbent paper serve andwith pudina chutney.
