In a recent interview, Bollywood director Anurag Kashyap lauded Alia Bhatt and referred to her as his “best performer.” Additionally, he said that while he can’t afford to have her in his films, he would still like to work with her if her budget allows for it.
“I think Alia is one of the best performers in the country, and I always reach out to her after watching her work,” he stated in a Zoom Entertainment interview. But when I disagree with anything she has done, I remain silent. If it doesn’t compromise my film’s budget and dynamics, I would like to work with her, but it also needs to come from the other side.
Alia Bhatt was referred to as one of the top performers in the nation by Gangs of Wasseypur filmmaker Anurag Kashyap in an interview with Zoom Entertainment. He said that he always gets in touch with her when he appreciates her work but stays mute when he doesn’t. The filmmaker continued by saying that because his films have modest budgets, he cannot afford to collaborate with stars like Alia Bhatt.
The director claimed that he considered Alia to be among the top actors in the nation and that he constantly reached out to her after seeing her perform. But when I don’t like anything she has done, he stays silent. If it doesn’t change the budget and the plot of the movie, I would adore work, but it must also come from the other side who collaborates with him.
Alia has delivered back-to-back hits following her remarkable performance in Gangubai Kathiawadi in 2022. She debuted in the same year with the movie RRR, followed by the films Darlings and Bramhmastra: Part One- Shiva by Ayan Mukherji. She appeared in Rocky Aur Rani Kii Kahaani this year with Ranveer Singh, and she made her international film debut in the American movie Heart of Stone opposite Gal Gadot, Jamie Dornan, Sophie Okonedo, and Matthias.
