Fans of Samantha Ruth Prabhu had a major shock when numerous media reports indicated that the actress would take a one-year acting hiatus due to health concerns. Samantha is now coping with the auto-immune condition known as myositis. In October 2022, she revealed the news of her diagnosis.
After finishing Citadel India and Kushi, Samantha supposedly made the decision not to sign any Telugu, Tamil, or Bollywood films, and she even gave the filmmakers their advance payments back. The actress will consequently “lose a significant amount of money during this period,” according to Great Andhra.com.
According to the newspaper, “Samantha’s potential loss amounts to anywhere between Rs 10 and Rs 12 crore given that she recently signed three projects and considering that she typically charges between Rs 3.5 and Rs 4 crore per film.”
