Ingredients
- • Wheat flour – ¾ cup
- • Maida – ¾ cup
- • Potatoes – 2
- • Onions – 2
- • Green chillies – 2
- • Lemon juice – 1 teaspoon
- • Red chilly powder – ¼ teaspoon
- • Salt – ½ teaspoon
- • Cheese (grated) – ¼ cup
- • Garam masala powder – a pinch
- • Ginger – ¼ inch piece
- • Ghee/Vanaspathi – 1 tablespoon
- • Oil (for deep frying) – as required
Method
- 1. Pressure cook potatoes.
- 2. peel and mash it to smooth paste.
- 3. grate onions, mince chillies and ginger together.
- 4. Grate cheese using fine cheese grater.
- 5. Heat ghee and fry grated onion with minced chillies and ginger till golden brown.
- 6. Mix all the dry ingredients in mixing bowl.
- 7. Add mashed potatoes, grated cheese, fried onion and mix well.
- 8. Sprinkle little water and knead to smooth dough.
- 9. Roll out into puris and deep Fry in hot fat.
