Sidharth Malhotra calls this Thank God co-star Ajay Devgn’s film his ‘most favourite’

Bollywood actor Sidharth Malhotra is these days promoting his Diwali release Thank God, which stars Ajay Devgn and Rakul Preet Singh. In an exclusive interview with Bollywood Hungama, the actor reflected on his 10 years in the industry and his career and made some interesting revelations.
During the rapid-fire round, when asked which is his all-time favorite film of Ajay Devgn, Sidharth Malhotra said, “I was really inspired by him when he played the role of Bhagat Singh. That was a tall order. The kind of intensity he has in his eyes and he carried it away, he was an iconic character. And to pull it off with that spontaneity and that stature, I would say, Bhagat Singh.”
The Legend of Bhagat Singh is a 2002 film directed by Rajkumar Santoshi and narrated the story of freedom fighter Bhagat Singh who fought for India’s independence. It stars Ajay Devgan, Sushant Singh, D. Santosh, Akhilendra Mishra, Raj Babbar, Farida Jalal and Amrita Rao. The film revolves around the life of Bhagat Singh from his childhood as a freedom fighter till his hanging on 23 March 1931.
On the work front, Sidharth Malhotra will be seen in Ajay Devgn-starrer Thank God, which also stars Rakul Preet Singh. The film will release on 25 October 2022. He also has Mission Majnu with Rashmika Mandanna, Yodha with Disha Patani and Rashi Khanna and Rohit Shetty’s Indian Police Force, Vivek Oberoi with Shilpa Shetty. All the projects are slated for release by 2023 respectively.
