Following Om Raut’s Adipurush’s box office failure, Sameer Vidwans’ Satyaprem Ki Katha is currently enjoying an extremely fortunate situation, with the box office trend completely swinging in its favor. The Kartik Aaryan and Kiara Advani starrer, which was released on June 29, made a staggering Rs 12 crore (early estimates) on its first Sunday after taking in Rs 9.25 crore, Rs 7 crore, and Rs 10.10 crore in its first three days.
Satyaprem Ki Katha is continuing its successful run in theatres despite earning negative reviews from reviewers. The movie’s success during the week, however, is still up in the air and needs to be seen.
The movie made Rs 9.25 crore on its opening day, but on Friday, that amount dropped to Rs 7 crore. On Saturday, nevertheless, the love drama saw a rise of 44.29% and brought in Rs 10.10 crore. The movie has so far brought in Rs 38.35 crore.
